How long will it take to get my order?
It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Upon completion of your order, you will receive a shipment confirmation email, which will include a link that will direct you to updated tracking information and the courier company that is processing your order. We ship via Professional Courier and India Post and items usually take 4-6 business days to arrive, once shipped.
Can I return my product?
We always aim to work with full dedication and make sure our customers love our craftsmanship and products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process. Please read our Return Policy for more details.
Can I get my product personalised?
Yes, we do. Just email us directly and we’ll let you know what are the products on which we can do the personalisation.
How safe is the Online Payment?
We are using payment gateway PayUmoney for online transactions, which is one of the safest payment processing companies. These are industry-standard secured payment method so that we will ensure you that all your online transactions are very secure.
Can I do cash on delivery (cod)?
If you are still uncomfortable making online payments (we understand your concern), you can use our cash on delivery (cod) facility. This facility allows you to pay your invoice amount in cash at the time of actual delivery to your doorstep. The minimum value for COD availability is Rs. 600/-
Are there any shipping charges applicable on my order?
No. All shipping is absolutely free for you.
Does the Handmade Leather Goods need maintenance?
In order for it last a lifetime, Definitely it needs some maintenance. To know more about it read Care for our Leather page.
What kind of machine do you use?
This is my favourite question. There is no machine in our Workshop. We stitch each product with our own hands. We put the leather in wooden clamp to hold it in place. Then we take a piece of pre waxed thread with a needle on each end and pass it back and forth through the leather. All day. Every day. To know more, read Hand-stitching page.
Do you offer post purchase support?
Yes, we do. We are independent Design studio and build Workshop whose main concern is quality craftsmanship. So if something unfortunate happen to your product such as stitching does not last, We will gladly fix it for you.
Does The Leather Chef ship outside India?
Unfortunately, The Leather Chef does not ship outside India at the moment. However, we are working on starting international delivery as soon as possible, so stay tuned!
