Return & Refund Policy — The Leather Chef

At The Leather Chef, we take great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of our products. However, if for any reason you wish to return your order, we're here to assist you.

To be eligible for a return and refund, the following conditions must be met:

🕒 Return Window

• Notification: Please notify us within 1 day of receiving your order if you would like to initiate a return.

• Dispatch: The return must be shipped within the same or next day after receiving confirmation from our team.

📦 Product Condition

• The product must be unused, in its original condition, with all tags intact, and packed in the original packaging.

• Items returned without original components or in used/damaged condition will not be accepted.

💳 Refund or Store Credit

• You may choose between a refund to your original payment method or a store credit (valid for 6 months).

• The refund or credit will be processed within 5 working days from the date we receive the product at our workshop.

• If refund is approved the amount will be credited to your bank account in 7 days 
  * Exchange delivery timeframe will be 7 days
  * ⁠For wrong and defective product the replacement will be delivered within 7-10 days

🚚 Return Shipping

• Return shipping must be arranged by the customer.

• After your return request is approved, we will share our return address.

• Please note: Courier charges for return are borne by the customer.

❗ Special Conditions

• Returns will not be accepted if initiated beyond the 1-day window.

• Items purchased under Sale/Promotional Events are not eligible for returns or refunds.

• Damaged or incomplete returns (due to fire, water, mishandling, or missing components) will be rejected.

• Unauthorized returns (sent without our return approval) may be refused at delivery.

🔁 How to Start a Return

To initiate a return, please reply to your order confirmation email or send an email to care@theleatherchef.in with your Order ID. Our team will respond with the next steps.
